Darnell Clarke's Bio

Darnell Clarke’s journey has taken him from being an ex-professional baseball player, to being a hiring manager working for companies like Coca-Cola, GE, and IBM to building a small IT federal government contracting business.

A veteran hiring manager and a career coach, Mr. Clarke is the author of “Employmentology: A Practical Systematic Methodology of Finding & Obtaining Employment by a Hiring Manager.”

He states that “The person who gets the job is not the most qualified for the job; it’s the person who is most qualified at getting a job.”

Darnell wrote this book because there is a gap in understanding in how and what it takes to get and stay employed, especially for the younger generation. He wanted to tell everyone how to play this game we call employment.

Mr. Clarke’s mission is to help all three generations (Baby Boomers, GenX’ers and Millennials) to create for themselves an “Extraordinary, Remarkable, Amazing” career and teach them to work in their labor of love so they can be employable FOREVER!

Mr. Clarke has been an invited guest on Fox Morning Shows, a guest speaker at the National Urban League Annual Conference has given over 40 live radio interviews and has written articles for Forbes, Fox Business, Black Enterprise, Essence and numerous newspapers and online publications on the topic of employment and career development.
